In many companies, home office has been part of the business culture for some time, for others working from home is a major change. A big challenge is the quick adjustment of the IT systems, but working productively from home can also be a challenge. If one succeeds in changing their daily work routine, many can even work more productively at home than in the office. In order for working from home to be not just a temporary solution, but a real alternative to the office, you need the right equipment. We have put together a selection of items that can be used to turn a notebook into a real workplace.
Many business notebooks support a docking station, either via a special port, USB-C or Thunderbolt 3, which provide an easy and convenient way to expand the connectivity of your notebook. Not only can you connect USB devices and monitors, but also a LAN cable for a fast and stable Internet connection and a charger, so you only need one cable.

Every notebook needs a power supply when its battery is running low. If yours is defective or you need a second one, you will find the right one in our shop. Then, you can always leave one at your desk and take one with you when you take your notebook with you. In combination with a docking station you save yourself the trouble of plugging in a lot of cables when you are back at your desk.

For an effective and ergonomic work at the computer you need various other devices. With a headset you can not only hear your counterpart better during a telephone or video call, but with the improved microphone you will also be understood more clearly. With a mouse you are often faster than with the trackpad of your notebook. Furthermore, an external keyboard is often not only faster to type on than the built-in keyboard, but it can also be more ergonomic. If you use an external monitor, you can put the notebook aside completely.
Many modern notebooks have a USB-C port, where you can connect many different devices. Besides fully equipped docking stations, we also offer smaller docks and hubs. These do not offer as many connections as the expensive docking stations, but they are often sufficient to connect a screen and some USB devices to the notebook. One of the most important things in the home office is a fast and stable Internet connection, but if your WiFi is weak, be it because of a too short range or too many devices that use it at once, a good old LAN cable often provides a better connection. With a USB-C to Gigabit LAN adapter, you no longer have to worry about random disconnects.
