This keyboard is for models with optical drive (DVD)
Within the same model series, there are keyboards with and without an optical drive (DVD) and with a conventional touchpad (TP) or with a precision touchpad (PTP). If the wrong keyboard is selected, the identical keyboard may fit but not work.
An indication of whether the keyboard has a PTP touchpad can be found on the back of the touchpad when it is removed, directly on a small white label. In the case of a precision touchpad, this label will say “PTP”. A photo of the back of the keyboard and the touchboard is helpful for us to identify it.
If it is not possible to remove the keyboard and the manufacturer number of the keyboard is not known,
for some models, we can also find out the required keyboard for your notebook using the model designation. This model number must be specified when ordering.
